FAQs about Contributions

1. How can I give to Bibles for America (BfA)?

You can give to BfA in three ways:

2. Are contributions to BfA tax deductible?

Yes. Bibles for America (BfA) is a nonprofit organization funded solely by contributions, which are tax-deductible according to Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3). If you or your financial advisor would like a copy of our 501(c)(3) letter from the Internal Revenue Service, please call us at 888.551.0102, ext. 327. At the beginning of each year, BfA will send you a summary of your gifts from the preceding year.


3. Does BfA share my personal information with other organizations or businesses?

No. BfA does not disclose your personal information for commercial purposes or share it with any other organizations. See our Privacy Policy.


4. Is it possible to make a memorial gift to BfA?

Yes. You can make a gift to BfA in memory of an individual by mail or online. We will send a letter of acknowledgment to you and a separate letter to the family of the deceased to inform them of your memorial gift. When you make your memorial gift, space is provided for the contact information for those you want to inform of your gift.


5. How can I review, edit, or cancel my monthly gift?

The first time you make a gift online, BfA automatically sends you an acknowledgment e-mail containing a password to log in to our secure site where you can view your contribution history and manage your giving. Thereafter, you can review, edit, or cancel your online recurring gift or set up a one-time gift at any time. Simply go to the support us page, log in using your your e-mail address and password, and select “Gift Information” from the sidebar.


6. Is there a minimum monthly donation for EFT/monthly credit card gifts?

No. Your monthly gift of any size will help us reach people in this country with free copies of the New Testament Recovery Version and Christian books.


7. Why is an automated giving program a good option?

In addition to saving you time and postage, automated gifts do not require hand processing, which saves BfA money and allows more of your gift to be used to get free Bibles and books into the hands of spiritually hungry people.


8. How can I update my personal information?

The first time you make a gift online, BfA automatically sends you an acknowledgment e-mail containing a password to log in to our secure site where you can view your contribution history and manage your giving. Thereafter, you can easily update your personal information at any time. Simply go to the Support Us page, log in using your e-mail address and password, and select “Personal Information” from the sidebar. If your address has changed, please check to see whether the billing address on your credit card also needs updating. You can update your billing address by selecting “Payment Information” from the sidebar.


9. How can I view my giving history online?

Visit our Support Us page, and log in to manage your gifts using your e-mail address and password. Once logged in, you can view your recent online giving history by selecting “Online Giving History” from the sidebar. 10. Does BfA accept other types of gifts such as stocks and securities, gift annuities, or real estate?

Yes. BfA can accept non-cash gifts. You can find out about the various types of giving by visiting our Ways to Contribute page.


11. Does BfA accept wire transfers?

Yes. BfA accepts wire transfers. Please call 888.551.0102, ext. 310 to obtain wiring instructions.
